Qatar launches 22-riyal note and coins commemorating World Cup





Doha Qatar on Wednesday uncovered a 22-riyal banknote, adding a new and intriguing section to the generally existing one, five, 10, 50, 100, and 500 riyal notes to recognize the FIFA World Cup 2022.

Alongside the 22-riyal note, coins bearing the FIFA and the World Cup logos have additionally been sent off.


Qatar National Bank Lead representative Sheik Bandar canister Mohammed container Saud Al Thani sent off the note and coins alongside FIFA President Gianni Infantine.


The 22-riyal banknote includes the Lusail Arena on one side and Al Bayt Arena on the other, alongside the Qatar 2022 symbol and the World Cup prize.


As per the QCB, the dedicatory note and coins have lawful power as far as ostensible worth and particulars and will be presented through banks and trade houses.
